Recuerdame Organic Dominio de la Vega is a barrel aged organic wine made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. That said it is a complex aromatic wine with full body and gentle acidity, about as far as you can get from the typical New Zealand or Chilean Sauvignons that dominate the market. Ideal with food from cured meats, good cheeses to buttered fish and herby pasta dishes, even roast pork or turkey. It’s a gourmet wine with a very long finish, well worth trying a bottle as wines like this are rare and hard to come by. .
