The winery bases their sought-after style of Cabernet Sauvignon on the great Cabernets of the 1960s and 70s, which helped secure Napa on the international wine map. Acumen sells a large portion of their mountain-grown fruit to other fine wineries in Napa Valley, allowing Chappellets 30-year veteran winemaker Philip Titus to focus on his favorite small vineyard blocks.
