Port wine was kept for 4 years in oak barrels before being bottled unfiltered into bottles. Port wine can be drunk immediately, but the best flavors it will open after 5 years of aging in the bottle, and the bottle should be stored horizontally. After unsealing the wine can be stored for further 2 weeks. Company Churchills Graham was created relatively recently – in 1981, but managed to gain recognition in world markets as a clear leader in the production of the best Portuguese ports. Family Chrchil-Graham – Carolyn Chrchil, her husband John Graham and his brothers Anthony and William – was able to acquire and restore the three-castle estates in Rua da Fonte Nova, belonging to several vineyards. Age of vines grown here is 70 years, with half of vineyards according to Portuguese wine inventory belongs to the highest category – “A” class, which include the highest quality and expensive grapes. Interestingly, the grapes from the estates Churchills Graham not only assembled by hand, but chokes the oldest way – down.
